I am the Robert Garrett Professor of Politics and Public Affairs at Princeton University. After graduating in both Law and History from the University of Barcelona, I received my Ph.D. in government from Harvard and taught at Ohio State University and the University of Chicago before joining Princeton. I am a Guggenheim fellow and a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. My research is focused on democratic theory and comparative political economy. I write every other week in the Catalan newspaper ARA.
